The Prussian Gun

A most treasured artefact is Sir Iain Colquhoun’s gun… the very one that legend has it saved his life, in an inadvertent twist of fate.

For it was during the Great War (World War I) that Sir Iain found himself face to face with a Prussian soldier. Both men reached for their guns, with shots soon fired towards one another.

As fate would have it, the bullet from the Prussian officer’s gun lodged squarely in the barrel of Sir Iain’s revolver, jamming the chamber and saving his life as a result.
