Si Je Puis:
Tales by the Fire

Storytelling 2 Hours From £150 Per Person

An evening of clan legend under the Colquhoun motto — from the stag that won Dumbarton Castle to feuds, faeries and the odd witch. Eight hundred years of Luss, dram optional.

Draw a chair to the fire as our storyteller opens the clan’s book — the deeds and misdeeds of eight centuries on Loch Lomond, told the way Highland stories were always meant to be passed on: aloud, by firelight, with the weather doing its part outside.

The evening takes its name from the family motto itself — Si je puis, “If I Can,” earned in 1424 when a Colquhoun and a fast stag won Dumbarton Castle. That story opens the evening. Where it goes from there depends on the fire, and on you.
