Fatima Pantoja
Working across a wide range of subjects and mediums, including drawing, printmaking, painting, sculpture and murals, Fatima Pantoja has created this specially commissioned portrait of Lady Anne Colquhoun of Luss (1685–1724).
Based on an original oil painting, this interpretation explores the complex social narratives and codes of the period. As the sole heir to the Luss Estate, Anne was the most eligible bachelorette in the Scottish Highlands at the turn of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
